This is based on Azzaro Chrome if I'm not mistaken. Very nice overall.
It's either in the sale section or in the shave sets section. Sandpiper is a wonderful, terrific scent.
One word that Doc Ezlovan used in his description of it was "sophisticated". That really helped put me over the top in getting the sample first, and then someone PIFed me the aftershave(after which I bought the soap).

Oh, you put menthy in the Gentleman, I see. Well, now that I said that, my first Sandpiper was with menthol included. I liked it so much after my first sample set that I ordered it right away but it was in warmer months. Someone made me feel better later by saying Doc Ezlovan doesn't put THAT much menthol in it...that you can still get the scent. But my current Sandpiper has no menthol.
Stirling Single Edge September Went with the Glacial Lemony Orange soap and aftershave yesterday. Used the beloved Focus Dynamic R48 1/2 DE Single Edge Razor. 2 sprites of Stirling Triumph EdT since the GLO doesn't hang like Satsuma can. Wonderful easy and refreshing shave. I imagine you could formulate your own from the individual fragrances. My set of the Dirty South Shavers 2019 came in a little later than some of the other guys. Gave it the trial today with the same great hardware as yesterday. I found the scent pleasant similar to the Stirling Blu (dupe of polo blue) which will be 'on leave' from their lineup. I'll see how it holds up thru the day. Since the factory molested Wednesday soap isn't here at the Headroom house, it will have to be a PiacenzDay Wednesday tomorrow. No college courses required for lathering. Shave with liberty.
I love Lemony Orange. With Fall right around the corner, I doubt I’ll get too many more shaves before next Spring. Thanks for the description of Dirty South. The scent profiles (or especially the artistsic biographies) never tell me enough to make a decision with. Knowing it smells similar to Blu was all I needed to know!
I missed out on The Dirty South Shavers Soap/Aftershave Set. Glad to know the Stirling Blu is similar being that I bought the set on sale back in July. It's a nice long lasting scent. It'll be nice for Fall. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk

I recall reading a review of Stirling for Him on the Stirling website. The reviewer was almost derogatory, claiming SfH was Blu relabeled. Hmmmph! Same family, no doubt, but Stirling relabeling? You gotta be kidding. FWIW gang, I have every intention of making a hoarding binge purchase of Stirling for Him next time Rod whips up a batch. You have been warned. Update on longevity of Dirty South. Also similar to Blu.
