***Updated the picture. A very underrated PAA scent. Really enjoy it. I will have an excuse to use my favorite lather brush, the Solar Flare. And my 2nd ranked razor (I still like the Futur the best, but the difference is virtually nil.)

 

Perfect shave today, from a Newly Acquired, Restored, and Honed, German razor. Glass smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Wonderfully made razor, from the past. I like the slight smile on the spine, and edge. Makes it very comfortable, especially on the neck.

One more run on the Gem 1914 and we'll move on to another fine SE razor. Third shave with the CVS Carbon blade. It's holding up perfectly. No sign of rust or other issues. Time for some more mutton tallow love so out comes the Electric Sheep! Same formula as the Sheep except this has a kick. Lemon, Eucalyptus and Citronella give this one a unique scent that definitely isn't for everyone. I like it, and the lather - it is for everyone. Amazing how mutton tallow makes the soap that much richer, slicker and thicker. Good stuff.

The Canuck brush with the SynBad flat top knot made the lather quick and easy and three passes of noisy SE shaving on a carbon steel blade brought the baby home with smooth style. Yep. I'm loving this month. Hope you have a great Wednesday!

Needed something light to get me through this Tuesday. Barristers Reserve Waves is inspired by Gillette Wild Rain, it is one of B&M lighter scented soaps. Pairs great with Nivea Balm, a .84 GameChanger, GSB, StarCraft brush, and Captains Choice Copper bowl.

 

Evening Shave
Back to work in the morning...early! So an orange-scented shave is in order before I call it a night. Hoshi Tombo 6000 Asymmetrical Kamisori with Western scales; C&C 'Orange Frost' mentholated soap, and Fine 'L'Orange Noir' aftershave. No blood drawn (!) —thankful as its been a while since I've used a Kami-style blade—just über-smooth results. Have a Blessed Hump Day, gents!
