Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
Razor: PAL Adjustable
Brush: Ever Ready 100T badger
Soap: Stirling Sandpiper
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sandpiper aftershave

Perhaps my favorite Stirling scent today with Sandpiper, although picking the top Stirling scent I have would be impossible. Wonderful lather and nice whisker reduction from the PAL Adjustable. It's a quirky razor and the angle can go awry easily. Need more time with it. But a great shave in the end.

I am taking a vacation day on Friday so this week is really flying by for me. I went with Mike's Bay Rum this morning. The scent is an unapologetic straight forward bay rum scent. I am glad that I listed to @Primotenore recommendation on the soap. After rubbing the soap over my face, I went to work with the Thater. It is just a beast of a brush with is density and backbone. When you add in the little bit of scritch on the bristles, it really takes commitment to use a shave stick and face lather. Three passes with touch ups and buffing the neck ended in another drama free BBS shave. I will say that the Personna blades are not as comfortable to use as the Proline blades. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am ready for the day. I need to get things wrapped up so I can enjoy my long weekend. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
