    Jumping back into the 30Dc stream all the way from page 173.
    That's why I'll not pay $25 for vintage OS soap. Everyone says the scent has faded. It may be good soap, not great. I'd rather have two tubs of Stirling!
    Naming a technique helps to reference it for a google search. It comes down to getting enough soap in your brush then getting it hydrated. For me it came together during Decadent December of '17. I still haven't finished off a full puck of any soap and I'm not worried about rinsing some unused down the drain.

    Mr Contrary here. :duel:

    I think OS soap is one of the best shaving soaps i have and have ever used. I have a puck of mid-60's (4.5oz) which smells great and is a joy to use. Only bettered by my Vintage Yardley.

    YMMV lol.
