    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Timeless Bronze OC
    Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (2)
    WWB Invasion (24mm, Frigate Class)
    Stirling Hipster soap and AS

It's hard to believe that it's been 18 years since the tragic day that the Twin Towers fell. Seeing this date always gives me pause to remember and reflect and say a prayer for the victims and their families.

My shave this morning was a little rough. I Super Gooped the Stirling Hipster soap and proceeded to face lather with it instead of bowl lather like I normally do. It look lots of water and ended up still a bit too thick. I couldn't really get the angle right with the Timeless OC this morning. Riding the cap wouldn't let the blade engage and shaving at a steeper angle felt like the blade was scraping. I only did two passes because of this and ended up with a DFS. Application of the AS confirmed the scraping with a sharp sting. I'll give the OC one more try before sending it back to Jim. I fell in love with the solid bar base plate right way but the OC is just not doing it for me. It reminds me a lot of the ATT H2, if you don't nail the angle it can be a bit harsh. I'm sure the less then optimal lather didn't help in this regard. Oh well, there's always next time. Have a great day my friends!

    Hump day!!

Nah... Let it fly. Some tubs are impossible and some lathers just need to get that wet on the face.:happy088:

    HUMPDAY!!!
Declan is looking good and your SOTD pic is one of your best!

The Bronze OC is a tough one to get dialed in. I thought for sure the OC would be the one you gravitated towards. Some of the fellas in the SOTD thread refer to it as the meat grinder. I use it just off the cap with a really light touch.

Let me know when you're going to put it in the mail. I want to place an order at the store. Kill two birds.

    Williams~~Rubberset~~Feather~~Aqua Velva
A real J. B. Williams shave today. Original Williams tallow soap and a brand-spanking new old stock bottle of
    J. B. Williams Aqua Velva.
The Rubberset 400/3 with the iconic Omega 26mm/63mm boar knot, created the slickest,
smoothest, cushioniest, protectiviest lather ever known to man.
The Feather razor, with it's name-brand blade, now on shave number 4, deftly cleaved the

stubble from Primo's kisser, without disturbing a single epidermal cell.
No matter the direction, this amazing tool went where no blade has gone before.
Leaving in its wake a calm, serene body of skin cells, as soft as Little Debbie's Hot Cross Buns.
But that was not yet the climax...Oh no, not yet...
With a single, counter-clockwise turn of the hardened, plastic top, was revealed the
juice, that caused women in the '60's to drop their bobby socks:
Gentlemen, I give you the one and only...Aqua Velva.
    Ice Blue Aqua Velva.

Thanks Jim! I'll certainly let you know when I'm ready to ship it back. The solid bar is just sooooo smooth. I can only think of a couple of razors in my inventory that feel that mellow on the face.

Another stunner, Mark. The Seville is always a fave, I don't know why I don't pull it out more.
Just beautiful, Jim. That razor is winning the week!
Sandpiper is your favourite? High praise indeed, Perry!
That Thater is looking great! I like the Personnas, but have not tried the Prolines, Clint. Maybe it should.
Looks like that Scuttle is made for the that Splash/photo, Fuzzy.
Love that razor, Gary! Just a classic.
Sounds like a very busy time, Charlie. I hope everything goes well and I hope you didn't combine holding babies and getting your Shingles injections...:)
Hump Day! Great photos, Andrew. I don't seem to see the Hipster very much on here, but I do recall you posting that you liked it when you got it. Still the case?

Bobby Socks Eh? My dad was an AV man. I remember him splashing on a generous amount before church.
