    Oh the science of shaving! I've been known to experiment a bit myself and I'm not that structured either ....at least I don't think I am .

    Patrick, I dared to headshave with my Dovo Shavette in Oct 2018. It was shavette shave #16. At the time, I was surprised that I was able to do it with very little experience. It wasn't the best headshave, but it was pretty good. It was at that point that I decided to get my first traditional straight razor which I bought from SRD. It was a Dovo Special 5/8 round point.

    I'm just waiting until my daughter finished university until I start using and buying straight razors. Going to get costly.

    Well, let me make a suggestion. You can get a cheap shavette at your local beauty supply shop or you can order a Dovo shavette for about 35 dollars, that includes the clear insert for the DE blades and the black inserts for the Dovo long blade. You hold the shavette just like a straight so that transitioning to a straight will be easy. Think about it.

    Agree with you on the awesomeness of the Shampoo Bar, Bill. I’ve been using the Stirling bars for just over a year in a few different scents and like you it is all I use. One disagreement though- I like the bar and don’t care if they make a liquid shampoo.
