I did the full 30 days when the thread started in January 2015. No badge or reward other than the skills mastered.

We refer to using one set of tools for 30 days as a rule. It's a tried and true method used by many here over the years to improve their skills. I've been here for quite awhile, and I still come close to a rule most months. Because of it, my shaves have continued to improve over the years.

Your award will be a lifetime of great shaves, and you'll be in a unique position to help others along their journey. The on-going success of the 30 Day Crew results from the fact that everyone brings different skills and abilities to the table and is willing to help others. We're all hoping you'll stick around and become one of the regulars. :happy088:

Wonderful shave and photo, as always, Jim! What is your favorite razor, blade, soap, and brush combo and why? I'm curious since you own and use such a nice variety of gear.

    A Stirling SEptember

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna twin
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Poculi synthetic
    Soap: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sharp Dressed Man aftershave

Tried a twin blade in the Personna injector with good success. Not sure why I hadn't tried that before since it's such a mild razor. Nice shave all around.

    Enjoy your day!

I made sure to get more soap on my face this morning before starting to face lather. The lather was much better than yesterday. Three passes and touch ups just let the baby escape. I did end up with a couple of weepers due to operator error. I am just not on the top of my game this morning. A splash of Myrsol Limon and I am off to a client site for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
