  2. And now it's time once again for.....the FUURRRIDAY FILES-brought to to you by ME.

-Announcement......Announcement...Announcment.......on this Friday the 13th, as promised, I am making my decision as to whether or not to be enabled by a special deal from Williamsport Bowman Barber-of purchasing a gallon of Stephan Bay Rum Aftershave at full price, with an additional 15 oz. bottle of same for free. And that decision IS...............................................no, I'm not going to do it. I think that deal was meant for barbers to help stock their barbershops. In addition, I looked to see how much Stephan BR I currently have, and I have about 7 oz. left of the 15(my best guess.). That's a safe amount to last me hopefully through this fall/winter season. I love the stuff, thus I will buy more when the time suits me.

-I've talked about the fragrances I would eventually like to purchase, and I am approaching that goal. It's Barbershop, Leather, Wood, Cologne Dupes, Musk and Coffee. At this time, the coffee scent is all that is missing.

-I've been happy to try some fall/winter scents already, but Massachusetts is notorious for "Indian Summers" thus I'm just experimenting for now. I'm sure there will be days ahead for the "cool" products(and I don't mean groovy, awesome, far out).

Stayed on focus today with this razor for day 3 and this soap for Stirling September. The Cashmere knot isn’t my fave Synthetic, but I still whipped up a great lather. Finished off a solid 3 pass’er with this new splash. Another very nice product from Maol that paired very well with this soap. This is the frosted version with a nice amount of Menthol. Good stuff.
Off to visit a bunch of sites around the region today after an office day yesterday.
    Have a great day all!

  5. Great shave this morning. That Jeeves Bay Rum soap is something special. I wonder how many of us on the face of the earth are lucky enough to have the 7 oz. soaps(not sold anymore at Jeeves-they reduced to 4 oz). The Stephan Bay Rum aftershave is a nice compliment for the Jeeves soap. The "smoothness" of my neck, thanks to trying a different approach, really helps get me set for my days. All this talk about what's going on currently at Jeeves bothers me some(one person asked if the J boys are still in business. ). Well, I'm in no hurry to get another of their soaps, but they do have a nice lineup for us gentlemen.

  8. Sorry to hear you won’t get to go up to see Maya, Clint, but the reasons are very sound. She is more responsible than I was as an Undergrad, that’s for sure...

  13. Thanks, Jason! The first Fat puck yielded only 64 shaves and the second 106. Not sure why the wide disparity.

  20. Thanks Jim....it was good to "suds up" that Bay Rum :). Course the suds may not last long, but I helped cure its "thirst" anyway.
