Thank you guys. I just felt so sorry for Maya yesterday. Even after 2 hip surgeries, she is still in a lot of pain. This does impact her ability to study and stay focused. I think she realized yesterday that it will be nearly impossible for her to make an A in Organic Chemistry 1. She hates loosing at anything and holds herself to a very high standard. We had a long talk and I reminded her to give herself the break she would give someone else. She was in a better place after the phone call. We'll go up on a non game weekend and see her when she has more time.

Very nice shave with the OneBlade, Clint. A great way to start a Friday!

I'm glad to hear of your change in weekend plans, Clint. Organic Chemistry is challenging. Good on Maya to recognize the need for additional study. I'm sure she'll do well on her exam.

Congrats on a great shave, Paul. I'm glad the additional pass on your neck is working well for you.

These artisan soap makers come and go, don't they? I don't think we'll run out of soap anytime soon. :)

Happy Friday! What do you have planned for the weekend?

So sorry to hear that Maya is still having pain, Clint. Praying for her this morning. She's an amazing young lady.

Organic Chemistry was my Achilles Heel in college. A "B" would be a fantastic grade, IMO. :)

Thank you Charlie. Every path in college has courses designed to see who really wants to stay on that path. Organic Chemistry is one of those courses. With her overall grades a C will not be the end of the world.

Thank you Jim. I do worry about her having all the medical issues with her hip at such an early age. She is seeing another specialists and perhaps they can offer some help.

She started the semester with a 3.9 so she could weather a "C" and not be the end of the world. I told her that life is a marathon and not a sprint so keep things in perspective.

I was a weak person when I got an email from OneBlade just now. I was unable to help myself with a 50% off coupon and have something special on the way. Now to I follow @jtspartan with "one in, one out" or @Terry and let it ride?

Huh, just what I needed - hard numbers. That Maggard cart is setting in a tab staring at me. ($35 for the ceramic container & puck) ÷ 106 shaves = 33¢ per shave. When it done I'll still have the ceramic tub. Refills then cost $15, so subsequent lathers drop to 15¢. You drive a good bargain!
Pshaw, any soaps you buy now and never use become vintage soaps for someone else. Think of the children!
Yeah! ☯ Frankensoap helps balance the Universe. Every time you shave with it, you are the Yin to someone else's expensive Yang lather.
    Could this become A Thing?
    I believe it could!
Oh, another set of data points. Still that only 55¢ initially, and the bargain shaves kick in with the refill puck.
Yeah, me, too. Not the refill, my first order of MWF. I tried a sample, but it's been a while. The 30DC Hive Mind has Borg Assimilated me.
You didn't name that shave bowl with the hundred eye staring back. Symmetrical Pottery?
Nice gizmo! I've had a few good shaves with the mechanical Stahly handle. It's not something I dust off often. The top end has held it's own against both vintage and modern DE blade holders and dose well on a regular handle.
