    I love the scent of bay rum and Mike's Bay Rum is pure straight forward bay rum. Rubbed the shave stick over my wet face and went to work with the "Soap Destroyer". I had a wonderful rich slick lather in no time. The trick with the Genesis razor is to ignore the instruction and use some pressure. Three passes and touch ups along my jawline had the baby in sight. So I reapplied lather and buffed my lower right neck. A perfect drama free BBS shave in the house. I will use the Feather FHS blade for 1 more shave and move onto a modified GEM PTFE blade. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

    This morning's shave was a little above the "so-so" range..due to a cut in the neck area that momentarily messed up the strategy I',m trying to work on. As you know, I'm going North-South down there now, but I thought I'd try going down at an angle, not straight. I got the angle, all right...the direction of my cut :-(. But at least I'm getting comfortable going "Boston-to-Miami" at the neck, same as I do with my chin. The Clubman Reserve Gent's Gin felt real good...saved what could have been a fair shave overall.
