I did a two pass shave today, and i really focused on technique instead of results. As a result, i didn't get much irritation at all. One nick, but nothing too bad. My skin felt quite dry even before the shave, so i skipped the splashes and used a bit of moisturiser after the balm. Now i'll need to get some coffee.. Didn't get enough sleep last night I hope everyone is having a nice day

Thanks! It's quite challenging to take interesting photos with pretty much the same stuff and same background every time. I'll just need to focus even more and practice, to both photography and shaving
Thank you Joe. I'm ever aware of how this group at TSD & the 30DC interact. Some players have come and gone, but the current batch is playing well together. Thanks Jason! As an intermediary I'm glad I could place a portion into your hands. Thank you Gary. You've helped me to appreciate these vintage Gillettes. Thanks Jim! I almost color coordinated as well as one of your photos. Thanks John! I don't take notes like I should. Not sure where the Red blades came from, & forgot to credit Jack @Sparrow for the shave bowl. I don't think Neal @NCoxSTL, Fuzzy @wchnu, or my exwives were involved. Thanks Danny! When I made a break with the sugarbowl of Frankensoap his was my first choice. There were a couple dozen other set ups looking at me, but they'll have to wait their turn. Thank you Clint! The shave was comfortable, the gear appreciated, and the photo out of focus. I'm ever striving for improvement.

SEptember 17th Razorock BlackHawk V2 w Feather Pro Stirling Finest/Maple handle First Canadian Maximo Gomez Thayers CL Bon Vivant AS Still sticking with the Maximo Gomez for Tobacco Tuesdays. Today's Stirling product is the brush knot and a fine knot it is. Changed the blade in the Hawk last night, but was thwarted in my attempt to add weight to the handle. I thought it was hollow -especially given that the bottom end screws off- but, alas, it isn't. Tis a small matter as it is a fine shaver still. A heavier handle with a lightweight head may not have been a good idea anyway. Have a great day all!
Thanks Clint. That's what most everyone tells me. I pray that's the case. Thank you, Jim! I hope your move goes smoothly. Seems like there are always some twists and turns, but everything will work out fine. How is the new job going? Thanks very much, Joe. I sure do appreciate it. You're next, Jon.
