Overall, it was a nice shave this morning. The hand numbness is slowly receding but it still makes shaving a bit difficult.

    Wonderful picture, Daniel!

My very first rule with the crew I concentrated on technique. By the end of the month I was getting irritation free shaves although they weren't very close. I later returned to that razor for a focus and completed thirty consecutive shaves. I learned a lot about skin stretching, maintaining the proper angle throughout each stroke and which directions I could get away shaving. Takes time to find what works best for you and you're well on your way.

It was probably not the angle, rather an inadvertent sideways motion that cut you, Paul.

Nerves self repair at an excruciatingly slow pace. Hope your hand gets better soon.

SE shave today. I think it's #5 with the Feather, but I am not paying that close of attention.
The Feather Super Professional still has a good edge, so it's staying for the time being.
Sticking with creams as I indicated a few days ago.

Today, The HA performed wonderfully and the scent is mos def© in my top ten.
Who could complain about rubbing the product all over my face with such a soft brush?
The Simpson CH2 is a joy to use and not a bad-looker either.
For some idiotic reason, while shaving my chin, I put the blade down at a 90˚ angle. :shocked003:
Needless to say it left a calling card.
The HA shave tonic soothes and refreshes and smells.....
    lovely. :)

I'm trying guys. Still waiting on my Stirling soap. If I am going to shave with a straight razor everyday I will need to back off. I just love the BBS so much I have to go for it, but everyday like that and I start looking like I have diaper rash on my face...

I apologize for not posting every day, but that's the way it is.
An amazing razor that performs perfectly. I love the Wings, holds the blade securely. The APShaveCo. brush is fantastic! It whipped up the Dragons Blood soap in the Symmetrical bowl to a great lather.

I think most of us are guilty of chasing the baby. Not really sure how to get past that. I still do on occasion.

I did a 5 day, 351 mile bike ride beginning labor day and compressed the ulnar nerve in my hand. I have partial numbness and tingling on the outside of my right hand with a much more minor version in my left hand where only the tip of my pinky is tingly. If you want to read all about it, more info than you probably want here https://www.physio-pedia.com/Cyclist's_palsy
