    Ah, know it well. Not from a 5 day trek lol, but the odd hour or two can bring on similar for me, although not to such effect.
    It is cycling induced numbness of the other digit (!) which i have not experienced yet!

    Could well be right, Joseph. Actually, I was trying to copy the procedure taken by @wristwatchb (I think it was him) in doing an"earlobe to Adam's Apple" route. I think the next shave will be more of a straight up to down/down to up(depending on neck location of the razor).

    Menthol Monday, on Tuesday????
    Well sure, why not?? I wanted a nice comfortable shave that would wake me up ready for the day.
    Got some new shave stuff that the mailman delivered yesterday and just had to try new stuff, I picked Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic.
    Per-shave was the bar soap in the shower.
    Now before you bath with this you need to ask yourself, do you want menthol, everywhere???
    So after that wonderful cool shower, the shave was great smooth and clean using my Micromatic OC with a new blade. The feel of menthol and the scent goes together great. I'll slother on some witch hazel later tonight for an after work refresher.
    2 passes on both head and face and I'm awakened, cool, clean, smooth and ready to go, no issues to report.

    Excellent head and face shave, BBS on both areas. Would like to thank Trigger for great advice.

    RAZOR: Karve w/ E Bar plate
    BLADE: Wizamet Iridium (my last original Polish one)
    PRE-SHAVE: Cold water rinse followed by Grooming Dept Unscented w/ Coolant
    BRUSH: Shave Revolution Synthetic
    CREAM: Kapo (I love this stuff)
    POST-SHAVE: Witch Hazel followed by Stirling Obsidian Glacial Splash and finished with Pre Provence Balm

    I mainly take S-N and N-S passes on my neck, Paul. Regardless of direction, you want to keep the the blade's edge (close to) perpendicular to the direction you're cutting. If your skin is not taught, you have to stretch it as well. You should be able to shave safely in any direction if you do these two things. (The Gillette Slide breaks this rule slightly, but I don't think this is what you're doing.) Keep at it, and I'm sure you'll find success. :)

    Excellent photo Jason. You might be able to try handle from another modern razor.

    Beautiful photo and lineup Jason. The Feather is really a great looking razor.

    Nothing wrong with not shaving every day. Give yourself time to heal.
