MrEE, Dovo straight razors are excellent. There are some people that shave with a straight every day because their beard growth is quick or they just want to be smooth and clean shaven 24/7. My time between straight shaves is usually at a minimum of 30 to 36 hours. It gives my skin enough time to recover and to have sufficient growth to shave properly and efficiently. It seems to me that you may need to extend the time between shaves as well so you don't add to any irritation. Generally, you shouldn't get any irritation with a straight razor unless you are attacking your beard at greater than 30° or your not prepping your beard properly.

Well, we know all IS quiet in Colorado anyway, Andrew, but it was nice to see it in print. Course YOU might want to continue carrying that torch :).

After my earlier post I went to the Stirling website and put the Haverford soap and splash in my cart. I talked myself off the ledge. Seems a little premature to start adding backups when I'm not even close to finishing a soap. I have a couple of soaps sitting on the shelf that I haven't used yet. One of them was a direct result of your enabling.

Speaking of enabling, did you get the email from Blackland with the 18% discount code?

Most likely. I have been really liking the razor again and I am pretty lazy. :)

I switched things up on my trip from the Tech to the MMCP mostly because SE blades could be used in an emergency easier than a DE blade.

I didn't until my recent bike trip. Compressed a nerve in my hand and have numbness and limited mobility until it heals.

Nice den reset. Winning combo there! And hmm....Soap Commander from Alabama? Didn't know that. Might have to look into some (like I need more soaps!).

Very cool Neal. Black licorice you say? Gosh....I always search out the black jelly beans....since childhood. Another item to add to a list!

Cool shave Rick. Love the razor!

Awesome progress Jon. Your attention to the details of how it's happening now, definitely a great thing on your journey.

Awesome shave. Awesome colors and image!

Baker Street is a great scent from Stirling! Nice shave Jim.

Ugh....remember helping wifey and my elderly father through this. My turn soon. Hope it all goes well Charlie. By the way you enabler.....T&H Sandalwood SC on the way. Couldn't resist your description.

Win. Win. Win. Win. Lovely software & razor.

We have a bye week. Friday night is our band's exhibition performance, and some parent fun joining in for the freshmen parents. That's a neat idea though....wish we could get something like that going. We only see the other shows at competitions, and that's if they go to the same ones. The directors have 5-6 too choose from in DFW, and double that if you go out a bit. We don't always see our district schools.
