Yesterday in the Occams my favoured Schick Proline was not that clever and I managed to get a humungous cut. Today in the Mongoose smooth and comfortable with an excellent finish. Off for a couple of Days visiting friends and testing the Occams as a Travel Razor before our main holiday.

Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #369 TNNSER 3D Gem CS SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #369 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER 3D razor with a Gem CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Chinese Feather Clone Stock Blade My first go with any type of straight and everything went great, I even did the neck and 'tache area. Then disaster struck, I swapped hands, a cut on the jawbone and one just below the nose. That one might leave a scar. I knew my left hand was hard of hearing but I've now found it is totally deaf. At least I had the Hussy on stand by so at least I'm clean shaven. Smooth Shaves to one and all.
Ha,ha,ha I hear ya brother....I have a scar for life on my left moustace area, from when I was learning my shavette....Mine gets a little bigger every year, since I continue to shave over it. Now it has kind of a Harrison Ford mole thing going on, ha,ha.... But stick with it...you don't want to get those wounds for nothing....I did eventually learn to get great irritation free shaves with the shavette...So persistence pays off...and the things I learned from that endeavour has improved my safety razor technique tremendously....course. I'll never look the same ...But thats a small price to pay Left hand hard of hearing? My left hand had a sociopath thing happening...but only when holding a razor...
