We often judge such people harshly, thinking only how detrimental to their health it must be.
However, in many cases, people who crave salt may have a natural salt deficiency.
The craving is the body's way of saying "hey, I need more of this!".

When I get really stressed, I crave tomato juice... I'm not sure what's in there that I need, but it always seems to even me out.

Craving? I think it is leading to health problems for him.

Two years he has trouble with his legs, goes to the doctor and finds out his blood is too thick, and has to start taking blood thinners.

Now he is tired all the time, falls asleep in meetings and at work constantly. To counteract that he now packs 6 energy drinks in his lunch box and drinks those all day long.

So now he has thinned his blood, and hammering energy drinks to get his heart racing. He's 59 years old and won't go to the doctor, last week his leg was purple starting at the knee and was black at his ankle. It swelled to the size of his knee. We all practically begged him to go to the doctor, but he refused. Said it was from doing too much walking.

You know, I too had a phenomenal shave last night!

Loaded up my newest homemade soap (the leather scented one) with a burma shave brush (for old time's sake) and shaved with Pappy's '60 SS and a 3 shaves old Derby. Followed up with some vinegar-heavy homemade AS (Atreides scent) and all was good.

Defuzzed the gulliver with On-the-go shave gel and the HB sport. Same aftershave as face.

Surprisingly awesome shaves last night. Must have been something in the air.

I'm a fan of vinegar. How do you make your homemade AS?

Thanks Greg. Going out to some Brazilian Steakhouse later on. Took my dad's Softtail for a spin. Besides my feet automatically going for the standard sportbike peg location after ever single stop, rather than the feet forward setup on the Harley, it wasn't a bad little ride. Except for the blah shave this morning, it's been a nice day so far.

Well, I start out with a 3 oz spray bottle.

The last batch I made, I used 10 drops of the scent mix from my Atreides soap recipe. (minus the clay and soap, of course) Sometimes I fill the bottle about 1/3 full with grapeseed oil (when I want the scent to linger more). Then I top the bottle off with cheap white vinegar. Give it all a good shake before spraying a few spritzes on after a shave, and we're good to go!

By the way, this recipe is available under the OSL! So please, modify at your discretion, and feel free to share your changes.

I think I just set a new internet record.

I put up a post about ONS over on blogcatalog's forums and in under 3 replies, it got Godwin'd.:happy102:eek::happy102:D

Glory Bee is one supplier, but I usually get most of my stuff from a local organic food store. The synthetic oils (FOs) I've picked up here and there.
