    Nice Hussy shave, Perry!

I did enjoy the British Leather, but it would be far down my repurchase list. There were some mornings, though, where it just felt right.

    September 18 SOTD:

    Razor: Razorock Hawk V2
    Blade: Feather AC Professional Super
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: Stirling For Him
    Aftershave: Stirling For Him

Another nice shave today with the Hawk. Two passes and DFS. I think this is shave 8 on this blade, and it is still going strong. This is the second of the two soaps I currently have packed with me, so there will be some repeating the next few days. I hope everyone has a great day!

Great photo and shave Jim. I once went 14 shaves with a Feather Super in the Mongoose.

Just some fun I'm doing for the group(and me).....each Thursday, I'll be using at least one shave product that is vintage, classic. A throwback to earlier times.

    Good morning guys!
    Gillette Red Tip A4
    Rockwell DE (1)
    Omega Pro 49
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Nivea Men's ASB (not pictured)
I decided to continue with another non adjustable safety. Of the 4 Gillette safeties in my den, the Red Tip is my least favorite. I wanted a birth year Gillette safety and was lost out on a 55 Fatboy, so I settled for this razor because it looked nice and had a good rep. Now, I am not down on this razor, but its performance is not up to snuff as compared to my other 3 Gillettes. Continuing with this classic shave report, the Pro 49 really did a great job facelathering the Proraso without blooming it. The menthol kick really woke me up and the smell of this soap is really nice and clean. I like this soap so much that I would still use it during the cold months. I replaced the Russian blade with a brand new Rockwell. The Rockwell blade is an intermediate sharp blade, and I think it makes a great combo with this razor. Did 2 passes with buffing along the way to get a nice BBS shave without irritation, but did get two very tiny weepers. Applied the styptic pen and they retreated to whence they came. The matching AS really brings this shave home because it gave a great cool sensation and of course, it does smell nice. Finished with Nivea ASB to moisturize my face. This was definitely a pick-me-up shave! Have a great day fellas! 20190917_232548.jpg 20190917_232548.jpg

Just a fine Stoylin shave this morning, with the soap&A.S. combination of Baker St. It's interesting that Baker Street happens to be right up there among the current best-sellers on Doc Ezlovan's website. While working my neck continues to be a challenge, at least I am at a point where there's less hair there than what used to be. Now to just KEEP it off(or "from growing" I should say). A few Indian Summer days ahead, thus Baker will have to wait for colder weather. To me, I don't think Baker works in the spring/summer(at least so far as being comfortable).

How do you compare it to the regular English Leather, Perry? Ops, that was @Norcalnewb who said that, sorry.
