SOTD Stirling SEptember 18th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap RazoRock ECO Crown Super Stainless ½ (2) DS Cosmetics Purple Haze (26mm, Frigate Class) Stirling Noir soap and PSB Second shave with the ECO, really liking it's ability to shave at a super narrow angle. I still get the impression that the blade wants to catch and skip on the first pass unless I use a really fast stroke. I'm not sure if it's the blade or the lightness of the razor. I was planning on switching to a different razor next shave but I think I'll give this one another go and do some experimenting. I'll probably try the crown blade with a heavier SS handle as well as try a top tier sharp blade with the aluminum handle and just see how it feels. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
It must be the weather changing because my skin seems to be blotchy and whiskers tougher. Took out my Schick injector i2 today and it performed OK but the results were not as stellar as normal and my skin and beard has been like this for about 10 days.(blame the colder weather.) Razor : Schick i2 injector, mfg-1954-57 Blade : Schick (5) Soap: Razor rock "The Dead Sea" excellent soap,nice fragrance-good slickness & leaves the skin hydrated and softer, it's the expensive Saffron and it's other blend of essential oils. Brush: Razorock Noir 400 Plissoft Preshave: Wet the face + Alo Vera Gel Post shave: Alum block + cold water rinse Post shave : Dead Sea A.S + witch hazel + Nivea balm Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum block indicating some irritation= Have some great shaves!
Schick Type E2 w/movable spring, Schick II Twin blade, shave 5 I've said this before with other aggressive injectors and it holds true for this one. If this razor is like Slayer - Angel of Death with a single edge injector blade this razor becomes Sade - Smooth Operator with a Schick Twin. It is smooth and efficient though the overall shave is just a hair below BBS. I have just a hint of stubble under the chin but am BBS everwhere else. Twin blade will work in an E2 but the end result is not as good as using a Twin blade in the Type D.

Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Cella Crema Da Barba Jayaruh #369 TNNSER 3D Gem CS SE CWR Cella After Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Crema Da Barba face lathered well with the Jayaruh #369 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER 3D razor with a Gem CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Just received my Schick golden 500 Hydro-magic injector yesterday and it came with some platinum injector blades that still had the preserving oil on the edges so took the 500 for a shave this morning. The results were excellent but alum block told me that it was a little to close. The handle on this beautiful razor is 5 3/8 inches long so folks who like long handles will enjoy this one.(Men & women) Razor: Schick Golden 500 Hydro-magic injector J3 model Mfg 1957-64 Blade: Schick Platinum injector (1) Soap : Razorock "The Dead Sea" Brush: Razorock Plissoft Pre-shave: Warm wet wash cloth 40 sec X 2 + Aloe Vera gel Post shave: Alum Block + cold water rinse Post shave: Razorock "The Dead Sea" A.S + Witch hazel + Nivea balm Result: CCS,DFS,BBs + Alum block indicated I over shaved but no weepers= Have some great shaves!

ER Lather Catcher today...with Barbasol Pacific Rush Menthol, Badger brush and Clubman Musk... 2 passes of Heaven Count down has started...My Green TNNSER is on it's way!! This amazing razor story, from Maj.Tom designing it, and RiversRun scanning a 3D program for it, to Sir Jayaruh getting it printed and doing the finishing. What an epic!
