I started out bowl lathering 100% of the time, and have slowly transitioned to face lathering about 80% of the time. There has been zero impact on how much product I load, tbh.

Hump Day! Awesome shots as always, Andrew. Looks like the DS Cosmetic badgers are a better product than their Synthetic Fans. Really didn't like those- nowhere near enough loft.

That is a whole 'nother level of enabling that we haven't approached on here yet....:sexe:

This statement of Clint's needs to go on our 30DC masthead right alongside 'TTT'...

Thanks Jason! That brush is somewhat custom though. I ordered the knot and the handle separately and I drilled the handle deeper until I got the loft that I wanted. In this configuration it has great backbone while only sacrificing a little bit of splay.

I don't think it really affects me that much either.
Regardless of application, I usually load the soap from the bowl it is supplied in (i tend to avoid puck only purchases), and i find that i usually have more than enough soap in the brush to load up for ample passes with a great lather for either Face lathering or bowl lathering. Contrast that with someone who removes the puck from the supplied bowl, plops it in a shaving bowl, blooms it, and then lathers up and maybe you see where the soap usage discrepancy can creep in.

Those who post pictures on here of shaving bowls overflowing with a lather-volcano may well use much more soap than face latherers going straight from the puck to the face!

    Just sayin' :)

No shave today since I'm still smooth from yesterday's late evening shave with my Gillette NEW LC.

My colonoscopy went well this morning, and I'm good for 10 years! I praise the Lord for that, and I'm glad it's over! My Bride and I had a nice breakfast at Bob Evans afterward, and I'm gonna take it easy this afternoon.

Stay tuned as @Norcalnewb negotiates 30 DC group pricing on colonoscopies. It will be much like the arrangement we have for group psychiatric services. ;) And @clint64 was absolutely right. The prep was the worst part. The procedure was a breeze. I remember nothing and feel no ill effects now other than being somewhat tired. If it's your time, what's holding you back? Go get 'er done! :happy036:

Thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes, gentlemen. Have a fantastic Wednesday. :happy088:
