these and the pushups burn like crazy...I don't even want to think about what the situps are gonna do

Well, we had a frikkin huge swarm of honey bees... and when I say huge, I mean, 2 foot taller than the house and thick as a cloud all they way to the pond... outside our house. Apparently, they were migrating, and they found a hole in the wall of my house behind a rather large bush and moved into my laundry. We're talking thousands of bees in the house.

The bug man says that our regular contract doesn't cover bees, so we have to pay extra for this (of course) but at least they gave a really good discount.

To top it all off, found out my cat has kidney failure... gonna cost a fortune to try to get her to put some weight back on.

Still no news on my grandmother... Pop said she was doing a little better on Monday, but it's really still just a matter of time...

Oh, and did I mention that the room they set the bug bomb off in was our laundry... where we keep all our clothes? Yup. And we're having to stay somewhere else tonite... luckily we both happened to have a change of clothes in the bedroom.

We won't see the bug man again until tomorrow at 6:30. So we've got to wait until then to find out if it's safe to go back in the house.

I am sick of these monkey fightin' snakes on this Monday to Friday PLANE!

I was going to come over and see the bees, but my wife called and said we were due in Texarkana in 40 minutes...barely enough time to get home and turn around and leave

 

A rotten day! Hope your night is better.

 

A few notes to finish the day:

* I'd forgotten both A) how long it's been since I've worked out intensely, and B) how big of a workout my stretching sessions can be by themselves - but, I did get back to a full American splits (as we called them in TKD), both left and right. Chinese splits (again, as we called them in TKD), or center or middle splits, still needs some work
* Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes and Peppercorn get a huge :happy088
* [slash]there was something else, I done forgot[/slash] oh yeah, love the avatar Micah!
* and another thing, I can't believe how soft this 22mm finest knot from goldennib is, I truly do think it's softer than the silvertips I got from him. we'll see how it does tomorrow night with proraso. Micah, it's softer than that black and white handle ever ready I reknotted, but not as floppy. It's the one I put in that Rubberset handle. Let me know if you wanna borrow it sometime

Good morning everyone. Its Friday, or at least I have been led to believe. I would really tank to get to work to find out it wasn't...

 

The 'puters here at work say Friday..could be a trick though. Finially got some good sleep last night. WOOHOO!! Much better today.

Glad you did....I woke up with a headache and haven't shaken it yet....I may try to lay back down for a bit...

I'm just about done with my shift.
Hope this is a good Friday for you all.

 

GRR just getting started on my shift..No worries though.

 

Just got into my classroom (I am running later than usual- very sleepy). Anyway, I find a small trashcan on my computer chair with a note that reads "For coffee grounds".

I am not sure how I should take this. Have my coffee grounds in the trash suddenly become a problem, do I have a new custodian in my room who has issues with them being there, or is this something that has been gnawing at the custodian since I started making coffee in my room? I used to save the coffee grounds for the compost bin, but since I switched to french press, the grounds have a greater tendency to produce fuzzy growths in the compost...

 

intresting..why would coffee grounds be a problem in the trash I wonder. Just another mystery to add to the list... right up there with why we drive on a parkway and park on a drive way. hummm:think002

 

They don't take the bag out. They dump the old trash into a larger container when they clean the room. Maybe the grounds make that messier to do. Maybe it leaves the bag in my room soiled enough that they have to change it more often... Maybe the custodian just doesn't like to look at coffee grounds intermingled with gum, intermingled with trash...

Or maybe the custodian is just trying to be nice because I keep my coffee maker in the back of the room and the trash bins are in the front. I think I am going to see if any other coffee rooms have a similar new trash can....

 

It could very well be the issue if they do not take the old bags out every time. If the custodian is like the ones we had in school he is maybe trying to make it easier on you too.
