the day has gotten even better. the boss told me to knock off an hour early. now I'm home, one kid is sleeping and the other is in a good mood. I think I'm gonna go buy some beer.

I came home to a diarrhea covered dog in a crate....yuck. Washed him off, to the vet, got some medicine....fine way to start the weekend!

 

I hate that discovery. I usually find that one at 4AM.

Great afternoon, after we got home I took the girl to a local park and flew kites while she switched back and forth between the playground and flying her kite. All was going well until I was watching her and wasn't paying attention to my delta box. The delta box got caught in a wind change and crashed hard enough to break a cross piece. I left all the rest of my kites and flight kit at home so no replacement parts while I was out. Oh well. daughter had a blast flying her kite. Its about time, I made that kite for her 2 years ago and she never really cared much about it until today.

 

Very nice.. Gotta love that.

 

is that a religious joke? I really do have a temporal boss. I'm an assistant on staff. But that completely misses the point of your joke. I'm good at doing that.

Anyway... the local beer stop, The Smoker's Paradise, had a good price on Old Milwaukee. I'm set for a while. It's been a good day. Showed the boy how to roll his trucks down the driveway. We had a ball this afternoon. If only the weather was always this good.
