Fat Friday detour from a Stirling SEptember

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Polsilver
    Razor: Gillette Fatboy
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Excellent Fat Friday shave. Smooth and comfortable all around. Wonderful lather and a Fine finish. Can't ask for much else. Been a crazy week with very little downtime. Another long day today but the weekend should be relatively painless and restful.

    Enjoy your day!

  5. Nice save, Terry! Too bad about the new old razor. Does it appear to be damaged?

    Brush: 30DCLEV1.* synthetic
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: Stirling Agar

    Good morning!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. The alum had very little to report.

Really enjoying Jaws and my new bowl. Both a joy to use. The bowl will probably be in my daily photos for awhile, because it's so awesome. [IMG]

Happy Friday everyone. I am making a huge dent in the Speick shave cream. I am sure it will be finished early next month. The "Soap Destroyer" whipped up a rich slick lather while the "Snake" mowed the stubble down. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS Shave. A splash of Antesol and a spritz of Habit Rouge and I am ready for day. At least I think I am ready. I hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday.

  17. Thank you, Clint! Wonderful photo as always. Highs today in the mid 80s, so much better than the 100F high we had earlier in the week. We can work with the 80s.
