[slash]I'll take it![/slash] I can't, I've got my beady little eyes on something that may require all of my allowance, so I'll have to pass.

That was a very good deal pam, I said yes, but then said no. I figured I'd let someone else get a good deal than I. :)

Ahhh then Thanks! Some things in there I've been wanting to try, and some I know I like. Was surprised someone hadn't already grabbed it.

Pam that was a good deal you grabbed. I thought about it, but then I already spent my allowance, sold some stuff used that money and went into spending future allowance already this week. Good thing these are self imposed spending limits and not wife imposed ones.

I am getting ready to send a collection of DE razors to an online buddy to try out.
Said he tried a Merkur vision and got bad shaves with it, and soon sold it off, says now his is using a sensor cart razor. I soon found out he was using merkur blades, AKA ripped beer cans.

My question is this, what should I send him. He's an older chap, nearing 60 with light beard, and normal to sensitive skin.
I'm thinking a ss, a tech, a senator to try a mild OC, anything else come to mind?
also need ideas for blades, red IP's, crystals, derbys, dorco 301. Think smoother, not ultra sharp.

Although the Dorco 301 are OK, I never got as good results with those as I did Derby, Crystals, or Red Personna.

Those will be my choice blades when I try to get wife to convert this spring/summer.

For a mild OC, how does a Merkur 1904 fit?

Hmm, I don't have a 1904, or maybe I do, is it the same as the 11c?

I don't know... not a Merkur expert. I believe all their OC are mild.. But I have never tried them.
