I don't know. People in general, and women specifically are observant of their general surroundings and maybe more so when something changes in their own home. I'm not suggesting she's devious, but look around. There may already be a retaliatory purchase on display, or she's ordered something and is pointedly ignoring your bowl until the scales balance.

Between Houston and here in southwest Louisiana there was a bit of flooding. All of August was wetter than normal this year. Didn't get that sun baked dry dirt effect at all. Just the regular mud we have all year long.

Terrible, just terrible to suffer from
    "premature latheration".

YES! Good opportunity for veterans to make room by passing along unused gear, and maybe pick up and odd or desired piece of kit. For the Newbies and new TSD Members this third round is more open and accepting. Great chance to try hardware and software. Best part is if you like it, you can keep it!

Thank you, Perry. This much I will reveal. The soap is not for sale at this time. I was approached by the manufacturer to test the product and give my honest feedback. The manufacturer's name is fairly well-know, although I have never before used their soaps.

Glad you are doing better today, Clint. I have to say, the Feather is everything one would want in a straight razor...without the headache of maintaining an edge. I should have started with one. I might never have purchased a traditional SR.

    Thanks, Jim.
I learned from the manufacturer, that this will be available in scented versions. What I am using is basically the soap-base. See post #6534.
