My Tuesday started off fantastic last night. I was called for Jury Duty in downtown Atlanta today. I logged on last night and received the wonderful news that I did not have to report and my service was completed. :happy093: I am so happy this morning that I am not commuting downtown. Now onto the shave. I have dried the soap dry with a damp brush and dry with a very wet brush so it only seemed fair that Blue Ming make an appearance this morning. Another wonderful rich slick lather. This soap just flat works whatever method you choose to use. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. I absolutely love these drama free shaves. Being in a celebratory mood, I decided to double up on the bay rum. I rubbed in some Krampert's Bay Rum. I love the way Krampert's makes my face feel but the scent really has no staying power. I followed this up with a liberal splash of Captain's Choice Bay Rum. I hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday.

Very cool. I'd ask @Hembree to bead blast it. I'm sure it will be an excellent shaver regardless.

I'm enjoying Peet's Major Dickason's Blend here in my neck of the woods this morning. I always have a cup or six of highly caffeinated elixir before attempting my shave. :eatdrink013:

    Good Tuesday morning to all.
Now right to the nitty gritty.

I received a brush from Keith @Enrico yesterday, I whiped up some lather with it using different soaps and it was great. This morning's shave was very different, this knot is great. I have nothing in the den to compare it to. Soft yet not limp, the feel of the bristles feel great. Makes great lather, just as well as my favorite Omega badger. Uh oh... I feel the BAD kicking in.... nice.
The razor is a real brush cutter. If you remember I had some problems with the PAA Phoenix Starling V2. The thing would stick to my face due to some kinda suction. I took some epoxy and rounded the head to negate any of that and....
Well, its a really good razor now, if you ride that cap. It gives one of the closest 2 pass shaves of any razo I own. Don't get me wrong, with the wrong hand guiding it, I can see disastrous results. I had a little bump on the back of the head, that is now history. I get them now and again, my razors keep them from getting out of hand. Not much blood, just enough to know it wss there. If you don't remember, I'm on blood thinners so I can leak rather good if I open the skin. This was very minimal.

    Gotta get going...

I looked at some on-line scent reviews and came up with a couple of contenders yesterday. Has anyone tried either of these scents? They are fairly well regarded on Fragrantica, and the Encre Noire is sometimes suggested as a darker version of Guerlain Vetiver (yes, @clint64 and @Keithmax your "payback" enabling is beginning to pay off). Prices on both are reasonable as well.

I had a few cups of coffee actually. Most finnish coffees are light roast, this one was just store brand coffee from lidl. Decent stuff, but price is the real reason why i bought it. :eatdrink013:

I just shaved a few minutes ago. Two pass shave again, reopened a nick from yesterday and got a few weepers. It's funny how i don't get any with my Feather Popular and some other razors i have tried, i think all of them had longer handles than this one. Might suit me better, but i'll stick with this, atleast for the 20ish days i still have left.
