    Soap - Stirling Orange Chill
    Brush - Jayaruh #54
    Post - Alum

    The Russian Blade Cartel is happy to announce that the Czar is, in fact, alive, if a bit worse for wear over the past day or two. That little fever and chills thing I had going on Sunday turned into a bigger fever and "Blah!" on Monday, putting me fully out of commission. I didn't work, though I did attend one meeting that was critical. Other than that.......I slept. And slept some more. I was actually in bed before 10pm last night which hasn't happened in YEARS. I woke up this morning feeling achy but better so I got up, went out and worked, and came home to take care of the three day growth I had accumulated. No idea what bug I caught, but I'm glad it's in remission.

    I know it's Tuesday, but I missed Menthol Monday so I declared Menthol Monday/Tuesday. Stirling Orange Chill with the JR54 for a classy and luxurious lather. Not as big a menthol kick as the "Iced" versions, but still very nice. I grabbed the Schick M to make it easy to wipe off all that extra growth. Smooth as silk, and two passes got me very near to BBS and that's all I was after. I'm still not 100%, so I'm easier to get along with. Although my wife might argue that last point. Less than a week to go in SEptember - can you believe it? OCtober is up on Tuesday next week! Have a great Wednesday!

    It is making it difficult to get back to the Beaumont area, but that won't be a problem until this weekend. Next week, the movers are packing and loading our house. So after that, it shouldn't be much of an issue for us.

    Very cool setup and image Mark!

    Nice image and love that Jayaruh handle! I believe the one I used today is quite similar design/size, but made from spalted Oak. Love the colors and pattern on yours!

    Thanks Rick! My goal 'round here is to either be loved or blocked. Middle ground and luke warm coffee are for sissies. :D
    :happy036:...and also William Faulkner. It's also National Lobster Day, National Comic Book Day, National Tune-Up Day, and National One-Hit Wonder Day.

    We have much to celebrate! It's a good thing I checked my email... 1.jpg

    I was under the impression you might have a Bronx or Long Island accent like this?

    Though I was born south of Interstate 10 in Louisiana that only qualifies me as Cajun born. In extreme examples that sounds like this guy - Farmer Fran.

    Sort of a mouth full of marbles, mixed French and English. I grew up outside of Chicago so I have a Midwestern thing going on.

    Mine is less pronounced, sort of a bland radio announcer accent.

    @RyX & @MrDaniel's And anyone else...

    Here's a very simple way for incredible coffee, no grounds/silt, no snobbery needed. Bodum Pour Over Coffee Maker (toss the metal filter it comes with). Chemex Pour Over Filters. Kettle with precision thermometer. Add your favorite ground coffee. One of my favorites lately is Cafe Bustelo. ~$58 plus coffee. Been doing it this way for years now, same equipment. Less than 8 minutes to supreme taste and caffeination. :eatdrink047:

    Thanks Blair! Still wrapping my nose around this soap & aftershave scent. I think the biggest component I can sort out is lemongrass. It's a clean flavor.

    I have a refined Brooklyn accent. I have been told that I have very good diction, however, my nasal tone is a dead giveaway! Lol!
