    Stirling SEptember!!!

    September 24

Razor - Schick Type M Injector
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Stirling Orange Chill
    Brush - Jayaruh #54
    Post - Alum

The Russian Blade Cartel is happy to announce that the Czar is, in fact, alive, if a bit worse for wear over the past day or two. That little fever and chills thing I had going on Sunday turned into a bigger fever and "Blah!" on Monday, putting me fully out of commission. I didn't work, though I did attend one meeting that was critical. Other than that.......I slept. And slept some more. I was actually in bed before 10pm last night which hasn't happened in YEARS. I woke up this morning feeling achy but better so I got up, went out and worked, and came home to take care of the three day growth I had accumulated. No idea what bug I caught, but I'm glad it's in remission.

I know it's Tuesday, but I missed Menthol Monday so I declared Menthol Monday/Tuesday. Stirling Orange Chill with the JR54 for a classy and luxurious lather. Not as big a menthol kick as the "Iced" versions, but still very nice. I grabbed the Schick M to make it easy to wipe off all that extra growth. Smooth as silk, and two passes got me very near to BBS and that's all I was after. I'm still not 100%, so I'm easier to get along with. Although my wife might argue that last point. Less than a week to go in SEptember - can you believe it? OCtober is up on Tuesday next week! Have a great Wednesday!

I think PAA's CK6 soap is at the top for me right now. It's got way more richness than is even needed, but I can't fault it. Aftershave for me is relative. It depends on how my shave went as to what is the best aftershave. Most of the time an alcohol-based aftershave works best, but there are times where a balm treats the skin better or a mentholated witch hazel is the best skin recovery lotion. I tend to kind of blend things. Every so often a neck powder for a dry result can prevent redness when it's more important to conceal/prevent rash/irritation in the short term than to recover/heal it.
