That was part the point :). Most Mon to Fri shaves are happening as wifey is getting ready for work. It's always coffee time, start of day conversation time, together time and usually jam to all sorts of music time. She leaves by 6:45am (off at 3:30).

    Many Thanks Jon!

    Sincerely appreciated Jim!

    Appreciate the comments Perry!

    Thank you Joe!

    Thank you Gary!

I'll buy one when i have a bit more cash. I usually buy my blades from finnish online stores, many sellers won't ship over here.

I might be mildly allergic to beeswax, so i think i'll skip that. But i'll look into the shea butter.

Thanks for the offer! I don't know how much the shipping would be, might be a bit too expensive

Very very nice image, gear and shave Jim. Love it!

Stirling Baker Street mixed with the RRx2 & Feather setup, awesome Jim!

Nice Perry. Love the BoS aroma....have to reach for it again soon. Sweet B&W image!

Sounds like a very good shave Daniel! Great progress happening. Nice image to boot!

Hope you have a great day off Terry. Enjoy it! Great shave and report.

Stunner image Clint! You're gonna make me go hunting the parks for outdoor images. Great report/shave and gear!

Always like your reflections/thoughts on your shaves, Jon. I didn't get weepers or nicks/issues with carts. It was constant neck irritation though. In hindsight, it was probably the shaving goo (lack of slickness there of) that was my issue. Don't ever plan on revisiting carts to confirm that though.

I was going to say that this may be excessive, but then I realized that two 30DCers have had new homes built, or extentions built on their existing homes, so that they could fit their sizable dens into new bathrooms...

Yup. Normal is a sliding scale for this group.:eatdrink047:
I have a colleague whose signature line below their name on emails is 'Normal is just a setting on a washing machine'...

Hey 30 DC Hive Mind - anyone recognize this razor? I'm thinking Rockwell, but I haven't found the specific model. It has three base plates marked R1, R4, & R5.

I don't own one but I would say Rockwell. The reverse of the baseplates marked R2, R3 and R6?

Nice shave and gear Dale. Informative comparison of the CP and OCMM (less is more! every now and then).

The ding-ding tune of the shave bowl. Great description (and shave!). It's why I now have that blue monster from Symmetrical Pottery! Several others I tried...just never worked for me.

My experience is that blades mattered less and less as the first few years with a DE went by. Do I have favourites? Of course. My worry is that often times people give recommendations for certain blades in certain razors and that isn't, imho, necessarily the right way to approach things. I think TTT applies here.

Congrats on the weight loss, Joe! Those pictures show how dedicated you've become with it, for sure.
