SEptemper 24 and it will be a Schick injector adjustable, this razor is amazing with the adjustable gap. I turned this one down to 3.5 and it shaves like a 7-8 on my Gillette Fatboy but smoother IMO and I'm thinking the previous owner could of tinkered with the settings possibly?

Razor : Schick M3 adjustable injector MFG 1970-72
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE (3)
    Soap: Tabac
    Brush: Yaki Tuxedo 24 mm
Pre shave: Wet the face + Aloe Vera gel
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave: Nivea refreshing AS + Nivea Balm
Results: CCS,DFS BBs + Alum indicated minor irritation = :eatdrink013:

    eBARBERSHIP Schick O Clone
    Schick Twin Blade
    CWS
    Barbasol AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 Brush. I did two passes with the eBARBERSHIP Schick O Clone razor with a Schick Twin Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

PS This is a cool razor. It is probably the closest you will get to a real Schick O. However, it looks like eBARBERSHOP is no linger carrying this razor. I don't know if you can find it anywhere else.

SEptemper 25 - Took out my Everready 1914 razor that will give a person one of best shaves you can expect. The engineer who designed this razor did a great job for performance for the time. No computers when electricity was only had in the big city's- oh we take a lot of things for granted when design of products for that Circa period were done on paper only.

Razor: Everready 1914 MFG 1914-17 older model with 1st generation blade stops.
Blade: GEM Personna SS PTFE (6)
    Soap: Tabac
    Brush: Yaki tuxedo 24mm
Pre shave:Shave Brush face wash with glycerin soap+ wet warm face cloth for 40 seconds X 2 + Aloe Vera gel
Post shave: Alum + cold water wash
Post shave : Razorock Acqua AS + witch hazel + Nivea balm
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + Alum Block indicated minor irritation =:)

I was at a crossroads this morning. I had planned to use the Blackland Sabre to finish out the month but a couple of days ago I got some new toys delivered and have been itching to try them out. So I decided to take the left fork this morning and take the TNNSER 3D out for it's maiden voyage. Built a fantastic shiny, slick, Stirling lather in my new bowl:

Painted on the lather and went to work. It took a few strokes to get use to the lightness of the razor and to dial in the angle but once I did, oh baby! This razor is very efficient for only weighing half an ounce. The handle is also feels great to hold in any position! Three passes got me close to catching the baby but he just managed to slip away. Very impressive finish for my first outing with the TNNSER. A generous splash of AS was applied and I felt no sting from the alcohol. Have a great day my friends!

Schick G1v1, Personna blade, shave 2
    g1v1.jpg

Reason I am calling this a v1 is there are 3 distinct G1 models that can be dated. Whether they shave differently is another story but in this case this one is an early G1 made in 46/47 but no later than 47. You can tell by the spring it still says Schick Injector on it. They didn't switch the springs to Eversharp Schick until either 47 but no late than 48. The later variants from 48 - 54 all have this style of spring, the last major revision in 1953 is they changed the ferule on the handle. You see the same rounded ferule on the G8 razors which superseded the G1 in 1954.

For an unassuming razor this shave was a blood bath but that could have been due to me not respecting this razor and my face being too dry. End result for me it is just a hint of stubble below BBS. Good razor though and should get most anyone who doesn't have facial as thick and coarse as mine a BBS shave. Tomorrow G1v3 (1953 - 1954) to see if they changed anything on these razors from the first iteration here.

If anyone wants to see the difference between what I am terming a G1v2 and G1v3.

    Pictured on the right is the G1v3 1953 - 1954 and on the left G1v2 1948 - 1952
    [IMG]

They share the same Eversharp Schick stamped spring but the ferule is what is different.
