well, if I remember correctly, it's about 4 hours from little rock to springfield, so from me to springfield is around 6.5-7 hours, tack on another 3 hours from Dallas, around 10 hours to Springfield going through Texarkana, maybe another route shorter, I don't know without Google-mapping it

 

What's the packaging look like? I have one Gillette blade that might be a super thin, but I'm not sure. I kind of put it aside as an old blade that was probably not good to shave with, but if I'm wrong, I'd be happy to try that one out.

Been seeing these pop up on eBay and there is a vendor here that is offering them now as well. I think these are supposed to be new blades not vintage. Dridiot has some in his eBay store as well...

Ihave seen those around know nothing about them though. I ordered a couple of the plastic Gillette DE's to give away and I think they come with the slim blades maybe.

 

I grew up in South Texas (about as South as it gets). I went to school in the Texas panhandle (Texas Tech in Lubbock). The drive home was 11 hours long. There's a good 3 hours of driving from Lubbock to the top of the panhandle too.

Useless trivia... the Rio Red grapefruit and the 1015 onion were developed in my hometown. The 1015 is named after the farm to market road the onion field was on.

I had such a nice surprise waiting for me in the mail this morning...

Look sweet. I finally put myself on the waiting list for the Bull Mastiff this morning. I don't know why I bothered waiting this long. I should have went ahead and got it when he first introduced it.

 

You guys must like heavy razors. What head are you getting Matt? You got a New Improved head, right Greg? They do look awesome...

 

No no, it's an Old.
I scavenged the head from a 1920's ball end Old that had a severely cracked handle and traded that in toward a pre-plated Old type head.
With New Improved razors being so much harder to come by, I'd hate to see one cannibalized for parts unless it was beyond restoration.

I also just picked up a package from the office. The Red Tip that Corey traded me arrived yesterday as well.

Btw... Corey... I feel like I owe you more, man. That red tip is in great shape and you threw in Feathers too?!?
