Ooh! Lots of stuff to catch up on...

Never tried the Super Thins. The only Thins I've tried were the '50s version in the red and black wrapper. Horrid, horrid blades.

Pepsi Throwback is available here now. I cannot see how Pepsi will be able to justify keeping the "regular" formula around once people get a taste of the real sugar version.

the best part of the whole Pepsi Throwback agenda is the theme-painted car got thrown into the wall Sunday :happy097

thank goodness I ain't had soda in over 4.5 years, or this may tempt me a little

Easy, it costs them more money to make it with real sugar. HFCS is much cheaper for them, so eff the consumer, bring on the profits. Though I could see them keeping the throwback stuff around for a while and charging a premium for it.

And Jones is superior anyway. :D

I'm a Coke man myself...specifically Diet Coke (for the flavor, not the supposed dietary benefits). Never could stand Pepsi. It's too sweet and kind of bland for me. Coke has a kick to it. My sister disagrees with me however. Nothing but Pepsi in her house.

    same here
    Coke all the way
I got hooked on the diet with the lemon and lime varieties (and cherry, too)
got to a point I was downing 2-4 20oz bottles a day, so November 2004 was it. I've had maybe 4 8oz root beers since then, but other than the occasional oops_I_grabbed_my_wife's_drink, nada

had a neighbor when I younger, he and his wife in their 70's, all they drank was pepsi. we got a real kick at the time when pepsi brought out the ads that showed pepsi made you younger, we laughed and laughed as Mr. Bell was always full of energy, and now we knew why :happy097

My roomie is a Diet Coke addict too. I have to buy cases of the stuff when I go to Costco.
I'm more of a Dr. Pepper guy when I drink sodas at all.
Second choice would be regular Coke, particularly the Mexican Coke made with real sugar, none of that HFCS crap.

And I agree with you on the taste of Pepsi... never could stand it either.

RC was pretty good, actually. Haven't had one in ages.
