I think blooming coffee grounds is one of the techniques described for the Chemex I never use anymore. I tried it, but Max Headroom and his friend The Exalted Blue Ming told me to stick with soaps. We live on the wild side risking the use of wet soap.
Stirling SEptember!!! September 26 Razor - Schick Type M Injector Blade - Soap - Stirling Hipster Brush - Jayaruh #230 Post - Alum Beautiful Fall day today with temps in the mid-70s and sunshine. Very busy day as well. My feet are confirming that. Time to unwind with the Schick Type M and the JR230 to help with Stirling Hipster. This is a sample I got probably a year ago and have never tried. Interesting scent. According to Rod - "This scent boasts of amber, coffee, musk, leather, and wood are rounded out by citrus, floral, and vetiver notes." I definitely get the vetiver and musk and the entire scent is rather nice if a bit different. Same Stirling lather so that's the constant we depend on anyway. Three passes and all's well with a BBS in the house. Great way to relax and enjoy the evening. I noticed in skimming through a few pages (yes, I'm totally behind and it's ok because I AM the Czar, after all) that there seems to be a discussion about Mitchell's in October as the soap? Mitchell's on MWF each week? Did I see that right? MWF on MWF? I say why not? Sounds like a plan to me! Whoever came up with that one let me know so I can give you proper credit. Otherwise the Cartel will steal it ad you'll lose those all important royalties that we never pay anyway. Of course, open comb razors are the theme as well so now we have a plan for those who want. i may do a soap or 2 but mwf will be the mainstay..but i have a few different brushes to use it with..my first rule ..almost..
