Cast iron pans must be some sort of token from the dead lol. Everyone seems to have one thats a hand-me-down!. We have moved away from non stick pans in the last year or so. We got a cast iron griddle pan from a relatives estate and i picked up a cheap cast iron pan from lidl a few months ago. They are great. Bombproof and easy to look after. We have never used aluminium pans. Never liked the idea of cooking in them tbh.
@RyX The Aeropress looks like a cool and very repeatable way to brew coffee. It doesn't take long to find different recipes. Here are a couple. A 30 Day Rule is recommended. I assume you already have a Frisbee and have mastered it, but I know Hula Hoops are still your first love. Here are links to the scale and coffee grinder I picked up awhile back. Both are inexpensive and highly recommended. I included links for you as part of this Public Service Announcement.
Good morning everyone. I just shaved with my travel setup, one weeper, no irritation. The feather is a great razor, atleast for me.
@RyX The Bonavita maker fares well in this review, and you learn a little about what makes a great cup of coffee. Last year, I brewed a pot or two using the Golden Cup Standard mentioned in the video. It was too strong for our tastes (I told you we're not coffee snobs...I'm drinking a reheated cup this morning that sat on the counter overnight), but it was an interesting exercise.
Good morning, Daniel, and great shave! Have safe travels! A Feather razor is great for travel. I love the attention to detail and the high quality manufacture of all the Feather products I've used.
Hmm, Almost a cultic following has this. I've found that those of the snobby engineering mind love these things. Those of the snobby manufacturing mind like me eventually tire of the hand grinder and go for one of these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043095WW/?tag=thshde-20 Learning "your" cup-o-joe is fun. I found mine..... Always EXACTLY the same... Every cup.
September 27 I'm up very early this morning...a little achy (not bad...just enough to be aggravating), and I'm wondering if yesterday's flu shot had anything to do with it. Or maybe it was the triple dose of curry from the Thai restaurant last night. Who knows? I believe it will wear off as the day gets rolling. I'll have some coffee (duh!), catch up on some reading, and then jump into another shave with NEW LC. I have enjoyed this month's focus using it paired with the Voskhod blades. The shaves have been consistently close and very comfortable. I'm still fairly smooth from yesterday, but I'll shave again today anyway. I've noticed this month that the first shave with a new Vosky is noticeably smoother than the third shave. The blade seems to be sharp enough on its third outing, but the edge feels different. Comparing that feeling to the first shave, I literally cannot feel the blade cutting whiskers on my very first WTG passes on my cheeks. It's that smooth. I set aside some shaving goodies for my friend getting his birth year (I think) Fatboy. If my Stirling shipment arrives as expected (they ship fast), I'll deliver all the goods this afternoon. He is excited to get started with his new gear. I threw in plen-T of blades, and I decide to also give him a spare brush scuttle like the one I use every day. I think he'll be blown away with everything, and I can't wait to see his reaction. I hope you all have a great day!
I hope the oil provides some relief for her. Chronic pain is rough. I’ll keep you guys in my prayers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
