  9. I just picked up a shrink wrapped 6 pack of Jiffy mix. It went well with the sage sausage and dahl soup. No corn bread eaters in S.K? If you have access to eggs and milk I'll send you some!

Were they mine in that condition, I'd be happy. The original gold wash is thin compared to modern plating? Should you invest in it, they'd look great for centuries to come.

  10. I used to get that wonderful stuff when it was like $17 for a 16oz. pound.

I think it was pushing $50 where I used to get it, last time I looked

  12. Edit: I should qualify this.

If you have a razor, "Your razor" something bought from new and used through your life, then i would consider this a heirloom and would be mortified if one was to boil and disolve its history away.

If its a recent purchase for gifting on, well fill yer boots.

There is a gray bit in the middle obv.

I have a few 100 year old razors recently purchased and i like to keep them as is.
I have one razor i bought (i think it was my first, i can't remember) as a young man and if that gets passed on, i wouldn't mess with it.

I have a few aristocrats i would send to the bath as i have no loyalty to them but, a perfect aristocrat deserves a perfect home (case) and well, i couldnt put a good razor in a shabby case, which would lead me back to the start.

I am an emotion mess obv.
  13. Wow! That's a fantastic testimony, Jim! I am happy that you became so much healthier. Keep it up!

  15. I know. I used to buy Blue Mountain regularly for a decent price. Now I might splurge at Christmas. Wade buys green Kona beens and roasts them. He is nice enough to send some my way.

  16. Jon, thank you! I didn't have a choice. My mother was a type 2 diabetic. My father died at 83, but he had high blood pressure and cholesterol. I have a brother who is diabetic and another who is pre-diabetic. Before goinv to the gym 3 years ago, I was 30-40lbs overweight and huffing and puffing just walking to my car. I knew that if I didn't join a gym then my quality of life or worse was going to be evident very soon. I am greatful that I am functionally fit at 64.
