  3. thank you Jason..that makes you the last man standing? :)
  4. Great shave and picture, Gary!
    Congrats on the CT!
  5. When I had horses, I'd had'em make swoops by. It'll jitter even the most bombproof mount. If you have your heels down your fanny stays in the saddle. It'll still splashy our beer if it is in the cup holder.
  6. lot's of crazy animals in my neck of the woods as well, turkeys, coyotes, old foxes, and tons of cougars..;)
  7. thank you sir..:)
  8. Excellent reports today guys!
  9. Hey Gary @brit .....nice CT!
  10. Actually seeing your CJB yesterday was the inspiration for my shave today.
I have the TGN Finest and Grade A Silvertip. Both great knots. They hold their own against some of the newer knots out there although in comparison to the gel tip knots they are a bit scritchy. I do enjoy a little scritch on occasion so they will remain in the rotation.
  11. Nice, David!
  12. Can't wait to shave tomorrow. I miss using my brushes, after just a few days
  13. Great picture, Evan!
Thanks for the review of the Leaf.

  14. Good day all, late report, early shave.
Been using my Razorock ECO and finding out how it mows the field.
Its a light razor, so some will be thrown off by the way it handles. Being a light tool :happy068: it needs more control and a keen blade. A dull or subpar blade can make one want to press harder than necessary thus causing irritation. I also find that when snaping a DE blade in half it leaves a bend on the place to that snapped. This is nothing new, but it does seem to affect the tightness of the blade. Looking at the base plate there is a small channel where the bent part will sit, if installed correctly. I noticed that the channel isn't quite deep enough for it to seat the bend. I took a pair of pliers and flattened out those bent places on the blade. This did help the blade become more stiff, to me anyways. I don't suggest to do this, but it would be nice if the channel was deeper. Hmmmm.
Now shaving with the ECO is plesant, clean and close. Need a light touch as with any razor, I so far have been able to get a full 2 pass head and 2 pass face shave with one full balde. I attribute this to the ability to run it full head riding while keeping the blade lightly against the skin. You can 'tune' this razor easily to get the blade almost perfectly set on the skin. I see that as double edge sword to some who use, or prefer, the razor create the blade pressure by being heavy. Also it seems to get clogged easier than some, needing more cleaning than most razors.
    Enough of that...
First pass (face) using a new half Feather A, second pass (face) using the other half B.
First pass (head) blade B, second pass (head) blade A. I'm clean, smooth and ready for the day.

    Everything else worked great.
    Enjoy

  15. Excellent review, Terry!
  16. thank you Patrick..:)
  17. Great report Terry. You can cut them in 1/2 with scissors to eliminate the bending also.
  18. cool shave Terry..

  20. While traveling in fog, one of my uncles ran into a cow. The cow fell over, got back up, wandered off. Big crumple in uncles van grill. I always thought "cow tipping" was a joke like snipe and a burlap sack. Guess uncle was lucky he was driving slow else he'd have had to pay the vet bills along with getting his vehicle fixed. My next thought was if he killed the cow and had to pay for it, would he get to keep it?
