Hi Friends,

here is my last Shave for September.

Razor: PAV Brushworks
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
Soap: Klar Sandalwood (Sample)
Brush: PAV Brushworks Chief
Aftershave: Alt-Innsbruck

Man what a great Shave again. First of all, i would like to let you know, that this razor is fantastic. So sad, that Scott Pavkovich isn't in Business, because the Razor is a Merkur 34c clone, which is gentle and smooth. The handle is fantastic and my pic won't do justice to the look of it. It feels very good during the shave because of the very good balance. Very nice.

So i took my second item from Scott, my Chief Brush. It lathered up the Klar Sandalwood Sample within seconds to a wonderful smelling, rich lather with fantastic glide and cushion. The scent is not that sweet Sandalwood scent like Proraso or Taylor of old Bond Street. It's "smokey" , dark, with just a hint of sweetness far in the back.

The razor glided through my stubbles with a good accoustic feedback. Just as i like it.

At the end i thought of using my Alt-Innsbruck. I do not use it that often, but when, i wear this scent with joy. The cooling effect is fine and the scent lasts for a long time.

All in all a joyful shave with no negative aspects. I'm happy.

This will be my first time shaving with a GEM razor, so it should be interesting.

***EDIT - 2 pass + light clean up. Super aggressive or I just might have been choosing a wrong angle. I got a bunch of minor sleeper. Like the size of pin head scabs. I dusted my neck with some talc because it just seems to work so well in limiting post-shave redness with tough shaves. The scent of the Consul splash was better than what it smells like off the bottle. Very classic scent. Shaving has adventurous moments, especially with a new razor. I think it may take time for me to get used to this razor, but it seems like it should be something that will shave really well once I'm more practiced in it.
