    Seaforth!~~Rubberset~~Dovo 91
Well, here we are. The end of another month and entering fall. Today will be 90˚F so some spiced Lime was chosen.
SE September has been mostly adhered to. I did occasionally fall off the wagon and picked up a DE,
however, straights were the order of the day and they mos def© are SE's.
72 hours growth needed to be eliminated and the Dovo 91 was up to the task.
Scott has educated me on stropping, and I tried to go for a less taut strop.
Linen, CrOx and leather prepped the blade.
Seaforth! soap's appeal is probably its nostalgia. The soap isn't going to win any awards.
It's a nice, thick lather with enough slickness to keep the blade moving.
Where it drops the ball is post shave. Pretty dry. Not awful, but not up to today's standards.
The straight really shined removing so much growth. The blade easily passed the shave test as the first
WTG strokes on both cheeks, left my skin DFS+.
Subsequent passes smoothed everything out and while there are these pesky spots under my chin,
and these spots would fail the cotton ball test, I was left with a very close and comfortable shave.
The Seaforth! Spiced Lime did have a modicum of sting, but was refreshing in scent and feel.
Beginning tomorrow, it's a month of the Fat, so stay tuned.

    September 30 SOTD:

    Razor: Ever-Ready 1914
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: MWF
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Gratiot League Square

It has been another great month, even with the other outside changes going on. I think I got every shave in with an SE razor this month, some of which was forced by circumstances outside of my control. Today, I went with some MWF as everything else has just about been packed. It was a nice shave and got me ready for a 2+ drive into the office as I was in Lumberton again this weekend. The movers come today to start packing, so this will be another busy week. But, after this week, we will not be shuffling back and forth between Houston and Lumberton, even if we aren't in our permanent house just yet. We are all looking forward to that. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Though about getting on once.
All that is good to know.
Probably up its game a little by using a Feather blade.
    Thanks!
