    good morning gents..tuesday OCtober 1st..shave..#44 new rfb for the french market/platinum..the wcs synthetic picked up the MWF nicely and a few drops of water later a nice slippery lather was gracing the face..the 2 combination passes went effortlessly producing a near bbs shave with some minor pick ups..nautica balm and edt to finish..fabulous..rfb/platinum combo is a winner..MWFis a champ..

    Good morning, gentlemen!
    All is right with the world because I am back to straight shaving!
    Straight Razor Shave #103
    Dovo Special 5/8 rd pt
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Nivea Men's ASB (not pictured)
    I just want to say that I picked the Dovo Special in honor of Evan @MrEE and because it is my very 1st straight that it would be appropriate to use it on the 1st. The Rocky did a great job lathering my face with the Proraso. I must say this is one of the easiest soaps to use and the menthol kick isn't overbearing. It gives a nice cushion and it is slick. I got an IBSS++ without any drama. Finished with the soothing Proraso aftershave and the Nivea balm. Have a great Tuesday, guys! 20191001_094642.jpg 20191001_094642.jpg

    Thanks, Terry. Funny, I really like the Feather Super Professionals. The DE's, which I have been using since 2014, are sharp, but I prefer the "feel" of a Polsilver.
