I’m starting to get the SS dialed in. It’s taken me about 3 weeks of shaves. So different than my Merkur 34c. More aggressive, with the larger blade gap, until I started riding the cap even more than usual. That toned things down. But still not perfect. My face feels a little nicked in places even thought there’s no blood. I’ll keep trying!

A good fella by the name of Jared @PickledNorthern who used to hang in these parts once said his Supply Razor would be the tool the staff of the nursing home would be putting in his hand to shave.

Based on his recommendation, it is what I'll get if I go for another injector type tool.

During the early days of Bloomers Without Boarders, I did some quick and sloppy research that agrees with that. The original idea was to release the scent, but easy loading is a nice side effect.

 

You read my mind Neal! I thought I wanted the Grande for the long handle until I understood it's hollow. I like my Piccolo for the solid brass weight. Got mine second hand, too. The bay saved me 1/3 off retail.
