My shave was interrupted.. I am going to get another either late tonight. or early in the morning.

 

I have a mudbug trap and get my own out of one of the trout streams I haunt. I don't think they taste quite the same, but a fun meal all the same.

 

just an idea, sometimes "Edit Signature" is your friend....

don't throw them completely out...they'll still catch a nice bass or catfish

 

What's up peeps? Didn't have a chance to get back on until now....miss anything since this am?

Good....getting ready to head up to bed. Very early day tomorrow (0345), and Saturday. Thankfully I only have 2 of those super early days every 8 (so my next after these two won't be until next Sat/Sun).

gonna have a nice mild shave tomorrow with my Fatboy, and freeze it up with some Noxzema Lather and a home brew A/S that's supposed to be extra mentholated (made by omegapd). I burned my face up some today with the straight....

other than that, things are good...you?

 

I be finer then the hair on a frogs chin... Being all lazy and all.. I am off again tomorrow.. then back to the 0400 wakeup time for Saturday.

 

still... that frog should shave

Oh mah frickin' garsh...
I shaved with my Bull Mastiff tonight...
(heavy handle, Old style head)
I used a Gillette yellow 7 o'clock, I figured that'd be a good test blade.

All I can say is... wow... amazing shave.
I don't know if it's the weight or the Old style head or what...but just wow.

One thing I did notice about the Old style head... aligning the blade when tightening it down is tricky. It's quite possible to unintentionally make a slant out of a straight head razor (uneven blade exposure)
If any of you Old users have any hints about that, I'd welcome them.

Be very careful when tightening down the head.
