Thank you. I just recently got a Moka type stove top expresso maker. Otherwise, I prefer the press type.
We use a Bonavita pour over coffee maker. Every now and then, we'll use ouf French Press. When we are out and about, we'll use an inexpensive drip coffee maker or a Keurig. It's all good.
I should add I've had a Chemex since the early '80's. All filter machines take out the coffee oils that I have come to like.
I use instant coffee, an automatic drip and a couple stainless stovetop percolator like this (a 4 cup for in the bush and a 9 cup for home) .....
French Press probably 90% of the time. K-cups when I'm in a rush. Once in a great while, mokka pot. I'd love to get a siphon one day for the cool factor, but they're too expensive for the occassional use that they'd see and they look like a pain to maintain/clean.
Gary I told you we must brothers that were separated by the US/CAN border. I'm so cheap ..... when my automatic drip dies; I just go to the thrift store to get a new one. The ultra basic Mr Coffee.
A Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker that I can set to make my first pot just before I get up. Nothing like waking up to fresh-brewed coffee.
