I even thought about adding some witch hazel. But that seems like a better ideal.
In the winter, I just use a ASB right after too.

It’s always difficult to have unpleasant conversations. In the end everything worked out well. I did stop and pick up a bottle of Kentucky’s finest on the way home. Four Roses is for desert.

Very nice and a sufficiently Clubmanated shave, Rick. That NEW LC is one fantastic razor!

I sat a large glass bottle of Floid Vigoroso on my sink top where the bottle of Clubman used to sit. I've started using at night after I wash my face. I enjoy the mix of menthol, baby powder, and barber shop scents.

Thanks Gary! Stirling's Bay Rum is a nice scent. Unfortunately, it is the only Bay Rum that I have tried. That's ok because I am satisfied with this scent.

    That's good to hear, Clint.

Four Roses Single Barrel is good stuff. A friend of mine hopes to round up enough folks to fund a Four Roses barrel pick. It will be interesting (and fun) to see if he can make it happen.

Very cool set up, Jon. If only that OC razor could talk, it would have some stories to tell.

You forgot about doing all that the day before you go on vacation, that had been planed for 6 months. AND, your flight leaves in 3 hours.

I had a great day! I worked out, then I went to my local bagel breakfast place and ran into a few of my students. I was surprised to see them as they were to see me. The new counter boy is also a student. They all come, smile and shake my hand. It is these little things that make me appreciate the world. Stayed home and just relaxed. I have to straighten out a few things, but I am leaving it for tomorrow. I just need to rest today. Thanks for asking, Clint!

    Quick Saturday Shave.

A few years ago, if someone had told me that that this would be the gear I'd use for a quick close and comfortable shave, I would have said they were crazy.

It has worked out that way, but it doesn't mean that some of ya'all ain't crazy anyhow.

Wholly Kaw is good stuff. A little more expensive than I like. If you are a Brut fan, this is for you. Skip the Wholly Kaw deodorant, stick with the Brut.

Took a day off from my Gillette New SC. Much easier to do ATG on the lower neck open edge. .

4 shaves on this GSB blade. I could push one more, but won't.

    Shave on my friends.

Could have got into an issue with the disabled caddy. My guess is the other car was searching for easy pickings, you didn't look easy, enough.
    Glad for that!
Like that DE-DE razor, looks nice.

I went for my normal two-passer with the NEW SC this morning. I wound up with a few tiny weepers on my chin and neck. I accidentally tagged the edge of blade with my thumbnail during yesterday's shave (first shave on the blade) and could have damaged the edge. I should have changed the blade out yesterday, but I didn't. However, it will get swapped out in the morning with only two shaves on it, just to be safe.

I was a bit distracted. My Bride received some test results in her on-line medical chart yesterday evening that concern us, and we can't speak with her Doc until Monday. The weather was beautiful today, so we went out for a nice lunch. We also visited some local pottery shops and then went back out later this afternoon for a relaxing walk. It was good to get out, and it helped take our minds off things. I would appreciate your prayers for my Bride. I know that God is in control, but I still struggle with worry. Thanks gents.
