    I did bin the blade after the shave.
    My father and my older brother was like yours. Dad shaved every other day, and skipped the weekend, brother shaved about the same. They never looked scruffy either. I was the the lucky one that had a full beard in the late teens.
    I really hate shaving, it's a despicable thing I have to do. My beard grows in so much like a scrub brush, that's even worse. It's turning grey, and seems to be getting tougher, ain't that just great.
    So when I read about how nice it feels to have a smooth face, I just looked down.
    I wonder if some think I just joke about using two blades when I shave. That seems "craz blade", doesn't it. I use two Feathers per shave to get a good shave.

    But today, ah, today.

    I would much rather get a fantastic shave with a cheap razor, than get an awful shave with an expensive razor.

    It's all good, Terry. We're all different, and I'm glad you found something that works for you. If we didn't kid you about using so many blades, we'd just have to find something else. ;)

    Using a soap or AS for 3 or more days in a row gives you time to feel, smell and live with it to make a more complete judgment on it.
    Thats works for me anyway.

    Well then, wait till I go use some blades I've been buying for a November crazy blade run off. May have to use MORE than TWO blades per shave.
