I don't think we had that tune in the hopper, Paul, but that's a good suggestion. November Rain and Purple Rain were both contenders.

 

I may have said this earlier, but it's going to be more of a challenge for me to do "Throwback" day shaves(hopefully keeping it to Thursdays)with my cold weather products. I don't want to make the shave sound corny by saying, "This is Stoylin.....a throwback of 7 Long Years!". Nah, too recent(as we'd all agree). A Clubman shave would be the top choice obviously(1830). Course there's good "OL" Barbasol, which I think is great as a year-round canned offering. Talkin 1919 with that one. I'll have to do some research to get the origins of some other ones.

 

Never heard November Rain.

 

At least you tried Jon. Maybe tweak it some more and hopefully next time it gives you better results.

Glad yous got to perform Perry. Cold beverages are well deserved today !

Good Sunday morning all, interesting shave today.
I let our my Stirling Electric Sheep for a test run, and run it did. This scent isn't ome of my favorites, might come in a close 5 or 6. But boy is it strong. As I said I let it out for awhile, so I thought. First thing it kicked the crap out of Stirling Baber Shop and Clubman Pinaid and Ogllala Bay Rum, some of the strongest scent in the bathroom, it headed for the laundry room where it dusted Pinesole disinfectant, wasn't much of a fight really. I caught up with it going down the hallway towards the kitchen, probably after the Lysol. I finally got it under control, although its only a sample and real small, it's real strong.
3 great passes on the face, 2 passes on the hat hanger. A new Feather Pro Super in the RR V1 Blackhawk, you'd think I paid for this shave, both head and face are fantastic.

The lather was great.

Thats why I lock myself in bathroom when shaving although I've been startled before by some outside noise or a knock on the door and lost concentration. Thats when things go South.

I dont always shoot fot BBS. Sometimes just getting a shave feels nice whether good or bad .

I was up and moving very early this morning. I fired up the Big Green Egg before sunrise to get smoke some ribs for lunch. The things that I do for daughter. I was able to get a shower and shave at last. The A&E Dirty Ginger is very unique scent. I pick up a ginger ale vibe with notes of rum while lathering. The performance and post shave feel was superb as usual for A&E soaps. Three passes and touch ups with the Karve D plate OC caught the baby with ease. A splash of the matching aftershave left my skin feeling fantastic. I enjoyed the scent being more intense than the soap. Today was my first use of A&E aftershaves but I can see adding more to the den. Looking forward to a good lunch with Maya before she leaves for the University of Kentucky. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
