    Hmm.

It is the cheapest Boar brush i have. I looks cheap, it feels cheap. The bristles are clipped and the handle a two-piece hollow affair. Sheds the odd hair. Looks scruffy..

Here it is at the end of my other brushes:

But, i like the handle. Its great for face lathering. It may be two piece and hollow but it is done in a good way It feels solid and rubust, unlike the Omwga next to it who's handle is utter, utter bobbins.

Whilst the No.28 looks scruffy, it is a much better face latherer than the Omega who diesn't know how to relax. Whilst the 10019 is like a Marine corp. buffed and dressed and stiff, the #28 is a stoner. But on the face, the #28 is sooooo much better. Also, like the analogy above, the Omega doesn't really have much of a character whereas the #28 has heaps. I love the little bugger and i am not sure why.

It is, to me, the brush your old man would have used in the 60's & 70's. Its purposeful and workmanlike but gets the job done.

A better soap fluffer than my 404.
A better face latherer than the 10019.
A better handle size for face lathering than the Yaqi.
A better product than the Star.

If you like your high end, you will hate it, but paired with my Yuma and Arko cream & i am in shaving heaven!

    Daft but there you go.

Its always nice to give a little back and you guys are great, so if you want, i can see if i can get one and post it to you FOC (post may take a while lol) :)

Great news, Chris! The Dovo shavette is a great shaver and I will always be thankful for it because it gave me a good foundation on straight shaving. I have never tried any other shavette and frankly, I really don't want to because I am very happy with my Dovo shavette. It does have a reputation of being the most unforgiving shavette on the market, but I don't agree. Have a nice day, Chris!

Well, YMMV and some people love it but i thought it really lacked in slickness and shave performance. Arlington smells like the bastard love child of Williams and Arko!
The bowl is rubbish for the (lots of) money as well.

Its a no from me i am afraid.
