Gillette new long with KAI 2nd use
Enders Speed Shaver with schick proline B20
Arko and Cremo cooling blended on two band badger.
I picked the new long to participate in OCtober and it wasn't till I had the blades loaded till I thought about the fact that the Enders speed is an open comb razor too.

    Mon 7th Oct.

    RazoRock Syn. 22mm
    Lea Classic soap
    Alu.Hawk V1 / Windrose handle
    Schick Proline [ 7 ]
    Lea Classic A/S lotion

I was lucky to get hold of some Windrose handles when they were really a budget buy. I use them on a number of Razors with great success , this one on the Alu. Hawk gives it some extra heft, and it Shaves very well and can be used with precision to get a nice close finish in the most awkward of areas.

Quick cleanup with the Bumpless MMOC and a Gem SS PTFE 5th use I believe. And my favorite soap Mer Shavings Fougere Orange Dunkys Milk Shaving Soap on Two Band Badger.
I really hope Mer makes this one again, it's amazing. I wish I was eloquent enough to give it a proper review.

7 O'clock single edge, modified Gem Ptfe Stainless blade, shave 1
    7oc1.jpg 7oc2.jpg

Here is a razor you don't see that often. Far as I know this razor was produced after 7 O'clock and Autostrop of England merged if they were ever separate companies and before both became part of Gillette. It uses a proprietary blade but thankfully the blade is the same size as a Gem blade. Gem blade is easy enough to nibble or grind it so the tabs on the razor lock the blade in place after despining the blade. One blade that won't work in this razor is a Feather FHS-10 which will fit and lock into place without modifying but the blade sticks out well past the edge of the guard.

Shave is mild like any of the C model Autostrop razors. It gets the job done but not to a BBS level of shave.

Just posted this shave over in the OC area, but thought I'd include it here as well....I mean these are 2 Gems (in every sense of the word). Needless to say, it was an awesome shave!!!

Gem Zinn Automatic sporting a Proline B-20 (1st pass)
Gem Open Comb Damaskeene and a GEM SS PTFE blade (2nd pass and touch-up)
Soap & Brush: Modern Williams lathered with an Omega 10077 boar
