    Thanks, Gary.
It's hard to tell from the picture how hydrated that lather is. If it were to fall off the brush it would land with a splat.
We all have our own preferences. I know what works for me as you know what works for you.
    Thank you!

Any post manufacture organizations are not affiliated with the soap maker. I looked at their WEBSITE but they do not offer any opinion on the matter. From my personal experience, the soap arrived as a hard puck wrapped in paper, inside it's ceramic dish. It's not like Stirling or soaps of the type that are poured into a tub. I think this one is allowed to cure (dry) long enough that it does require a little water to loosen it up when loading. The blooming procedure would facilitate loading, but it's not necessary. That being the case, I have added enough water to my ceramic dish to just reach the top of the soap puck in the hope it will swell up, fill the dish, and not bounce around while I'm poking at it trying to load my brush. Being an every other day shaver generally, my next use will be Tuesday and I'll let you know how it goes.
I think you were discussing soap from another company, so I won't bother you with the MWF scent description of fern-like fragrance based around Patchouli, enhanced with extracts of Lavender, Pine and Clove and with notes of Nutmeg, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk. It's such a very mild scent that I can't pick out any particular component. It doesn't linger so most any aftershve or cologne can be used as a follow up.

I was talkinabout a PAA soap, then look for an exisiting A.S. to match it. . Thank you for not bothering me with the MWF scent descrption. That's how MWF arrives, eh?

Love everything about that pic, Rick! Again, I think this shows just how much water is in the average non-triple milled product...
I've never seen that razor before, very interesting.
Have a great time at the hospital, Charlie!
I trust your wife's results will bring good news as well.
Have a good day at school, Joe.
Your weekend was exceptionally busy with the band/weather issues, Perry. We will give you a 'one day pass', but expect to see your nice photos again tomorrow...:eatdrink047:
Very nice photo! What size is that Zenith, Jim? Mine are 26mm I believe.
Awesome shot, Clint! Did you stick with the Shavemac, as per the write up, or change it up to the Thater? You don't seem to pull that Thater boar all that often.
Everything looks fantastic, Joseph. 'Favourite looking DE' is a thing...
Very unique Menthol Monday software for sure!
It worked on me, too, when he said it was a better knot than an Omega... I bought 2.
What an amazing looking Goodwill, Gary. The cases for them usually aren't that nice!
Probably lots of reasons for this- remember, folks were coming from a straight- using ANY safety razor wasn't nearly as aggressive.
Another beaut, Jim! Yup, definitely wise to paint and finish without any furniture in there...
Love, Love, Love those brushes! Sounds like the flat could have been a lot worse as well.
That Omega looks like it is broken in very nicely, Daniel. Wonderful brush.
    No. No you don't.
She said I smelled like A--. Don't know if an ashtray is better or worse than that...
    Ditto.
Awesome looking gear, Andrew. Interesting comments on the Synth as well.

I like it a lot! My other boar brush isn't as good, but it hasn't broken in as well yet. My main issue with it is that it tends to shed a few hairs every shave. But it works well enough, i can make decent lather with it. If the hair starts coming out in clumps, then i'll probably just replace it with another Omega.
