Like a Ninja... Or a Samurai! OK, sounds like a plan. I'll give it a shot. The MWF is looking sufficiently hydrated last time I peaked (just moments ago) so it won't need much mushing to pick up a soap load. Synthetics don't yet absorb water though they may trap some. Conventional wisdom suggest boar do, while badger falls in between? I'm guessing horse is similar to badger because they are hair, not bristle.
I see some you tubers just wet their badger brushes before loading, no soak. My morning routine allows for soak time so I'll continue to do so with my natural hair brushes. Necessary or not, I don't know but it has worked for me this far.
Regardless of lathering performance, is it not potentially damaging to a natural hair brush to just pick it up and go at it without soaking first? Does this not encourage bristle breakage?
Thanks, Gary! I would think so. Like I said I'll continue soaking. If I'm in a hurry I'll go with a synthetic.
