    24 hour blooming...and it didn't absorb it? Uh...that's a pretty arid dense soap.

    A modern design pivoting razor designed to use Feather 'Valet' type single edge blades.

    Reportedly good Shavers. I have never used one.

    The electric one is a good beard and mustache groomer. I have one and like it for that.

    Please do not ask me to shave with it.

    Thanks, Blair! Your pic was great. Haven't tried any of the products you used so i won't comment on them, but it sounded like an excellent shave to me!

    I am a total shave libertarian.

    When I offer an opinion, it is just that. Do not assume that my opinion is based on some defense of my purchases. My straights and sharpening gear investment is higher than any other hardware items.

    The Blue Ming loves diversity too.

    Good evening, guys!
    Traditional SR Shave #104
    Henckels Friodur 7/8 sq pt
    Omega Pro 49
    Stirling Satsuma SS and AS
    Nivea Men's ASB (not pictured)
    I have been using the "dry paste" face lathering technique and I have been getting solid lathers. Don't worry, I still will bloom! Lol! I picked out the Friodur because I was in the mood for a large blade to cut my 36 hour stubble. I have to say this razor is sharp because I really only needed one pass to get a DFS+, but I always go against the grain for my second pass. I stopped at 2 passes because I got an excellent IBSS++ and really didn't have to go for the half pass. Did get a minor weep, but I always seem to get it with this razor. Lol! This was also an irritation free shave as well. Applied the lovely Satsuma AS and followed by Nivea's Men's ASB. I look youthful (in denial, lol!) and smell awesome!
