Traded a 2011 R41 for this. Well worth the trade in my opinion as I couldn't use 2011 R41 two days in a row, that aggressive for me.

He and Berni did this for me for my sons college graduation. My son swam for Purdue and Berni took a picture of him swimming and scrimshawed it onto the scale. Beautiful work.

    Razor - Fatip Piccolo
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
Soap - Stirling Port au Prince [IMG]
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum

A beautiful day in the Lou. Perfect 70's with clear skies. I'd take it all year long. Time to put the day to bed with a quality shave and this setup should do it. The Piccol with Rapira SS, Stirling Port au Prince with mutton tallow and that great earthy/grassy smell all whipped up by the 30DC LE brush. Doesn't get too much better than all that.

Three nice slow and relaxed passes and the Fatip did its job with ease. I just let the weight of the razor do the work and refused to add any pressure or speed up. Nice, slow, effective and the result was quiet alum on a perfectly smooth finish. Can't beat it. Not bad for an old man shaving now. Just hope I recognize the razor the next time I see it!!

Thanks to everyone here for being a part of this group that I get to share with year after year. I will say that there will be some personal challenges for me in the coming year that may be quite difficult. No matter what comes down the pike the one thing that makes every day end well is getting to come on here and herd the cats. Thanks, cats! You all make it worth it! Have a great Wednesday!

It's a recent discovery, received from another forum friend who, I believe, has not less than 50.000 soaps! :D
    Good performance and scent!
